ONLINE VIOLIN LESSONS FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN: BEGINNER AND ADVANCED LEVEL

I develop 1-to-1 strategies to meet your musical needs and goals, and I adapt to your needs as a student.

When teaching children and teenagers, I take advantage of how naturally they relate to music through movement, emphasizing the playful nature of musical training while developing solid study habits with the violin.

With adults, I’m very responsive to their stated goals. I make the most of their own motivation and satisfaction in playing music.

“I always wanted to learn baroque violin, but there was no opportunity. In her violin class, Maite not only teaches violin skills, but also makes me think about harmony and how music becomes something beautiful.”

ALSO INTERESTED IN LEARNING BAROQUE VIOLIN PLAYING?

With me you can learn mainstream classical playing, as well as baroque violin technique, and a comprehensive view of baroque and classical composers and how they should be performed.

My way of introducing my students to this field of performance is very flexible and always responsive to their level and interests.

Although the results of a “modern” or historical interpretation are very different, I know that there are ways to move between the two styles. Over the last few years, I have developed a methodology that allows students to broaden their musical horizons while respecting their own goals.
